The property

A thirty-metre pool, an outdoor kitchen and more than 400 m² of living space: Villa Elise is not only about the architecture, but above all about how much room you have here to live both indoors and out.

The villa is being built in Benimeit, a residential part of Moraira, on a plot of 1,084 m². The design by GEA Architects is modern, but not cold. White façades are combined with natural stone, wood and large expanses of glass. That gives the house a clean look, while the materials bring some warmth.

Inside, the villa has 466 m² of built area, of which around 427 m² is usable according to the project information. The main living space is generous and open plan. Living room, dining area and kitchen together form one large space, with plenty of glass facing the terrace and pool. This makes the outdoors a real part of everyday life.

The kitchen gets a large cooking island and sits right in the middle of that living space. That works well if you like a full house: cooking while everyone else sits at the table, having friends over without retreating to a separate kitchen, or stepping straight outside from the kitchen on a summer evening.

According to the detailed project description, the villa has four bedrooms, five bathrooms and a separate guest toilet. The top of the sales information, however, lists five bedrooms, so this number still needs to be confirmed.

In terms of installations, the house is clearly designed as a modern new-build home. There is underfloor heating, ducted air conditioning, aerothermal heating and Climalit double glazing in PVC frames. Electric roller shutters and built-in wardrobes are also listed in the specifications.

Outdoor living

The outdoor space is one of the strongest parts of this design.

At its centre is an infinity pool no less than thirty metres long. That is a different kind of pool from the one you see at most villas. Not just for cooling off, but also appealing if you actually want to swim lengths.

Around the pool there will be ceramic terraces, natural lawn areas, gravel paths and landscaped planting. So the garden is not just one large paved terrace around the water: different materials and zones are combined.

A covered terrace is planned right next to the house. On the Costa Blanca in particular, a sheltered outdoor space like this is practical: in the height of summer you don't have to sit in full sun all the time, while for much of the year you can eat outdoors.

On top of that comes a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. That makes the terrace more than a spot for a few sun loungers. You can genuinely cook and eat outside here without constantly carrying everything out from the kitchen. With a pool of this length and the generous terraces around it, there is also plenty of room to create separate areas for dining, lounging and sunbathing.

According to the sales information, the property has panoramic views towards the sea, the mountains and the surrounding landscape. How prominent the sea view actually is from the various living spaces and terraces is something we would rather judge on site than on the basis of the sales information alone.

The surroundings

Villa Elise is located in Benimeit-Tabaira, on the higher side of Moraira. In practice, that means living here is different from living right around the centre and the marina. For everyday trips to the village, restaurants, shops and the beach, you will mainly use the car.

According to the project information, the Mediterranean Sea is about ten minutes' drive away. Shops, restaurants, sports facilities and medical services are also in the area.

Moraira itself is compact and international in outlook, with a centre around the marina, restaurants and terraces, and several beaches and coves in and around the town. The area is popular with people who live here permanently or for a large part of the year, but naturally there is also a clear difference between the quieter winter season and the busier summer months.

Benimeit is attractive if you like living a little higher up and away from the immediate bustle of the centre, while keeping Moraira within a short drive. For anyone who wants to walk to the centre for coffee every morning, or get to the beach without a car, the location is an important point to weigh up carefully beforehand.

In addition, Benimeit lies higher than the centre of Moraira. For most everyday journeys, the car will be the logical choice.

Finally, the number of bedrooms stated on the sales page differs from the detailed project description. We want to see that confirmed against the final drawings and technical documentation before any reservation.
